To Our Dear Guests and Church Members

We thank God for His blessings of wisdom and protection. He is always sovereign and in control of all situations. Therefore as the Psalmist said in Psalm 46:1–3 “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble. Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea; Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, Though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.” This is a time for God’s people to trust in the Lord that He is our refuge and strength.

Regularly Scheduled Services and Livestream

A stay at home order is currently in effect that prohibits the gathering of church family at our National City Campus. In light of this ordinance, we will still be having church; however, we have transitioned our services to a completely livestreamed experience. Livestreams will be held on Sundays at 11am and 5:30 pm and on Wednesdays at 7 pm. To join our livestream, click on the livestream button.

Sunday School

On Saturday, April 18, we will be posting our first online Sunday school lesson, and yes, it’s on Saturday. The general lesson will be posted on Satuday, then on Sunday morning after, each Sunday school class will meet online to be able to discuss the lesson in greater detail. Another aspect of online Sunday School is that we will start calling each class a growth group. We are making this distinction because our desire is that these lessons help you grow in your faith and walk with Christ. Stay tuned, your teachers and leaders will be contacting each of you to let you know how to meet on Sunday. See you online.

Prayer Requests

Because prayer is vital part of our walk with Christ, we wanted to provide a way for you to send in your prayer requests while we are unable to meet together. We have implemented online prayer requests so that you can still let us know how we can pray for you or whatever is on your heart. Click the prayer button in the menu at the top of the page to send in your request. If you would prefer you may call us at our church office and leave us a message there.

Faithful Ambassadors Bible Baptist Academy

Faithful Ambassadors Bible Baptist Academy has suspended gatherings at this time. If anything changes we will send a notification. If you have any further questions, please contact FABBA by phone at 1-619-434-2265 or visit their website by clicking the FABBA button.

Personal Health and Safety

Although we may not be able to meet together in person, we want to encourage you to continue to follow safe and sanitary practices outside the church campus.

  • Hand Washing and Sanitizing: Please wash hands often with soap and warm water. When hand washing is not available, clean hands with an alcohol based sanitizer.
  • Elderly: Any senior citizens and those who have underlying health problems or an otherwise compromised immune system should take extra measures to protect themselves. COVID-19 is more dangerous to the elderly and people with underlying health problems. If you need any assistance getting groceries or medication, please contact the church office and let us know how we can help.
  • Housekeeping: Keep areas around you clean and sanitary.
  • Social Distancing: We encourage our guests and members to minimize personal contact such as handshaking and hugging that may contribute to the spread of germs. It is recommended to practice social distancing of at least 6 feet.

As a church we must take time to pray for the Lord’s mercy, and we must be sensitive to share the saving power of Christ to people who are lost and encourage the brethren to not panic but to trust the Lord. For more infomation on COVID-19 and the additional precautions you can take to stay safe, visit the Centers for Disease Control website.
